I am extremely excited to announce that I am finished with my Twitterive!! I had no idea how much work I was going to put into this when I first started this assignment and I could not be happier that it is finished. I don't remember ever being so frustrated with an assignment. I did so much extra, unnecessary work for this thing that I am definitely kicking myself. This is definitely one of those assignments where I am finished and never going back.
In the beginning of this project, I was very unsure of where my narrative part was going. It took me a very long time, (actually until just yesterday), to get an idea of where or how I could make this a story. I wanted to end it as soon as possible because I was just so done with it, so I decided to just say that some people aren't just set out to do certain things. In my Twitterive's case, it was my stepmother who hated pageants so much. My aunt and I tried time after time to get her to enjoy them until we decided that she just was not a pageant person. That's okay because there are many people who aren't set out to do certain things. I am definitely not an outdoorsy kind of person so camping is definitely not my style, yet my father and brother would camp out every night if they had the opportunity.
My moral of my story is to accept people for who they are. Forcing them to like something that you like will not exactly work. You can try all you'd like, but in the end, you are just pushing that person away much more than
